Resumes, honestly

Your resume says what you were called. We find out what you did.

Ivy’s Index interviews you about each job, then writes a resume using only what you confirmed. Every line is true, so you can back up every line.

Free to start. No credit card. Works with or without a resume.

How it works

Three steps, about ten minutes.

1

Start with what you have

Upload a resume, paste it in, or start from scratch. Part-time jobs, volunteering, and school projects all count.

2

Answer quick questions

Short, specific questions about each job. Most take one tap. We ask about the numbers you forgot to mention.

3

Get a resume you can stand behind

A clean, one-column resume that hiring software can read, plus honest cover letters and interview practice that checks your answers.

Why it’s different

Built for getting interviews, not sending applications.

Every line is true

Other tools reword your resume and sometimes invent things. Ivy’s Index only writes what you confirmed, and flags any number you can’t back up.

Fewer, better applications

See how well you fit a job before you apply. If a job asks for something we don’t know about you, we ask you instead of guessing.

Interview prep from your answers

Every line on your resume is a question you’ll be asked. Practice with your own proof points, already written down.

Results, not volume

Track which applications turn into interviews, see what’s working, and know which employers actually reply.

Fresh jobs

About 40,000 jobs, straight from the employers.

Ivy’s Index reads the career sites of hundreds of employers, keeps only jobs posted in the last 30 days, and shows how well each one fits what you’ve actually done.

From the source

Every job links to the employer’s own posting, so you apply where they’ll actually see it.

Only fresh postings

Jobs older than a month are usually filled or forgotten, so we leave them out.

Your fit, before you apply

See what you clearly have, and answer quick questions about the rest instead of guessing.

Who it’s for

Questions written for your kind of work.

Questions for 45 kinds of work and more than 45,000 job titles, from cashier to claims adjuster, including military service translated into civilian terms. Use Ivy’s Index in English or Spanish.

Questions

Good questions.

Do you make anything up?

No. Every line comes from an answer you gave, and you can see which answer each line came from. If you edit a line and add a number we can’t trace, we flag it.

Do you apply to jobs for me automatically?

No, on purpose. Mass applying is why recruiters ignore so many applications. Ivy’s Index helps you find jobs you actually fit and get ready for them, and you decide what to send.

Where do the jobs come from?

Straight from employers’ own career sites, including big employers like Walmart, Target, CVS, and Kroger, and hospitals like MultiCare, Intermountain, and Banner Health. We only read sites that allow it, we only show jobs posted in the last 30 days, and every job links to the employer’s own posting.

What if I don’t have a resume?

Start from scratch. Tell us where you’ve spent your time, including part-time work, volunteering, school, or caring for family, and we’ll build one from your answers.

Is my resume private?

Yes. We never sell your data or share it with employers. You can download everything we have or delete it at any time.

What does it cost?

Building your resume is free. Plus and Pro add job matching, cover letters, interview prep, and tracking for an active job search.
